First pitches coming in hot
Former Nationals closer Chad Cordero will handle the ceremonial first pitch tonight.
The first pitch before Game 5 (if necessary) was a popular topic of discussion overnight since it was reported President Trump plans on attending Sunday night. The POTUS will not throw out the first pitch, however.
Nats had already confirmed that while POTUS plans to attend Game 5 (if needed), he won’t throw out the first pitch.

Who will? José Andrés, Michelin-starred chef who offered free meals to furloughed workers during the shutdown, fed millions of meals to Puerto Ricans after Maria.
I’m humbled by the invitation, and I realize is a big big big honor but I really hope that by Saturday night all of WASHINGTON will be celebrating that the @Nationals are the 2019 @MLB World Series Champions...?????⚾️? https://t.co/V6EvP9L7Lr

New Managers
Jayce Tingler has reportedly been hired as the new manager of the San Diego Padres. He is currently managing the Escogidos in the Dominican Winter League.
Jayce Tingler, who got the Padres job over Ron Washington, is widely respected for both his work ethic and game knowledge. Currently he’s managing winter ball in Escogido — and is 9-1. Being bilingual should be of big help for a Padres org loaded with international prospects.
