César Augusto Márquez (Caracas, Venezuela, 1984) Bachelor in Communications, graduated from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. Of his 14 years of professional career, 13 of them have been dedicated to baseball, first as Senior Writer of the sporting newspaper Líder en Deportes in Venezuela and then as Media Relations Director of Leones del Caracas, the most traditional team of the Venezuelan Winter League. He also cohosted the TV show Líder en Directo (2013) in Caracas and is co-author of the book Construyendo un Grandeliga (2016). He is based in New York where he writes for El Nacional in Venezuela and La Vida Baseball.
