On Friday night, Ronald Acuña Jr. made history when he joined the 30-30 club.
White Sox prospect Luis Robert hit his 30th homer of the year on Saturday. Robert also has reached the 30-30 club, doing so across three minor league levels.

1998 – Atlanta’s Andruw Jones stole his 20th base of the season, becoming the youngest player (21 years, 125 days) ever to have a 20 homer, 20 steal season. César Cedeño was the previous record-holder.
1975 – Luis Tiant Sr. threw out the first pitch at Fenway Park as his proud son stands behind him on the mound. The elder Tiant needed the permission of Fidel Castro to leave Cuba to travel to Boston.
