Marlins second baseman Isan Díaz made his major league debut on Monday. While his father was being interviewed in the stands the rookie went deep.

Two Much Fun

Monday was the fifth anniversary of Javier Báez‘s major league debut. El Mago hit a game-winning home run in extra innings in Denver in his debut. To celebrate the date, Báez hit a mammoth home run in the sixth inning.

Báez added a two-run shot in the seventh, insurance runs the Cubs would need as they hung on to win 6-5.
