El Bullpen: Bad Bunny visits El Mago, supporting Los Nuestritos and Acuña makes history

¡Los Nuestritos!
The Puerto Rican peloteros continue to get behind the young boricuas of Radames López Little League who defeated Canada Wednesday to move on to the international semifinal in the Little League World Series. It wasn’t only Edwin Díaz and Javy Báez getting behind the “Little Rubios.” Phillies catcher Wilson Ramos, while Venezolano, got behind los nuestritos.
Bad Bunny visits Wrigley
On Thursday night Bad Bunny hung out with some Chicago Cubs before the game at Wrigley Field. Báez even threw him some batting practice.
Clearly the visit made an impression, because El Mago said “I like it” a few innings later, depositing a ball somewhere else in the neighborhood around Wrigley Field. Estimated at 481 feet, the shot was longer than any home run he hit in the Home Run Derby in July.
El Mago went BOOM for 481 feet! 2nd longest HR in MLB this season. #AuthenticFan

Acuña Making History
Wednesday evening at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. hit yet another lead off home run. His 20th home run of the season came in the 75th game of the campaign, the quickest a player has reached 20 dingers before his 21st birthday in MLB history.

A Special Jersey
While Khris Davis continues to keep to keep the A’s in the playoff hunt with his bat he also helped put together a fabulous night for someone when they need it most. The A’s hosted children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Davis had Anthony Slocumb, a 10-year-old in remission from a cancer called Langerhans cell histiocytosis, sign his jersey instead.
“I thought about him around the bases.”
