Over the past four weeks we have enjoyed sharing the stories and perspectives of Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco, closer Héctor Neris and reliever Luis García. The three best friends and teammates have talked about their relationship, their musical taste and their approach to fashion.
In this fourth and final installment, the four Dominicans take a moment to congratulate one of their heroes. Vladimir Guerrero was one of the icons in the game while the three were growing up, and now that they’re in the big leagues they can appreciate his accomplishments even more. As Vlad heads to Cooperstown this summer, “Los Compadres” share their congratulations.
