The offseason officially began on Halloween, which means players had a lot of time to come up with good costumes. Here are some of our favorites: Jorge Soler, Elvis Andrus and our friend Ozzie Guillén nailed it this year.

2017 – The Houston Astros won the first World Series title, defeating the Dodgers 5-1 in Game 7. George Springer was named World Series MVP.
2015 – The Kansas City Royals won the World Series, defeating the Mets 7-2 in Game 5. Salvador Perez was named World Series MVP.
2010 – The San Francisco Giants won their first World Series since moving to California in 1958, defeating the Texas Rangers 3-1 in Game 5. Edgar Renteria was named World Series MVP.
2008 – Rubén Amaro Jr. was announced as the new general manager of the Philadelphia Phillies.
2001 – The New York Yankees won the first major league game started in the month of November. The Yankees beat the Diamondbacks 3-2 in 12 innings in the fifth game of the World Series.
